Quality Components Every Desert Rain Fountain is built using the finest materials available. Our spray nozzles are solid brass, and all other metal parts are made of high grade stainless steel. Even our pumps and motors are stainless steel to prevent corrosion. Our float assemblies are made of durable polyethylene to prevent saturation and list. The sectional construction makes height adjustment easy. Our electrical cable is PVC jacketed submersible pump cable to prevent deterioration in the water. Permanent underwater splice connects the cable to the motor to prevent leaks, corrosion, and shorts. Our control panels are equipped with ground fault interruption and surge protection to prevent motor damage.	Quality components for long-term ease of ownership. Maintenance-Free Design Maintenance is non-existent in properly maintained water, except for the occasional cleaning of light lenses. Water environments challenged with heavy algae or calcium require only an occasional cleaning of the fountain to insure proper water flow for both the motor and the fountain display. The motors are water cooled and contain no oils, therefore no need for oil changes. Desert Rain Fountains feature the finest off-the-shelf motors and components for easy operation and maintenance. The parts we use are readily available from a variety of suppliers in your area for immediate repair on-site.
Innovative Flexible Choices Desert Rain offers three different operating system choices for your fountain: Direct Lines, On-Shores and Traditional Floating Fountains. You determine which system is best suited for you based on your needs, budget and personal preferences. Custom engineered fountains are also available. We can design a system for your lake that runs multiple fountains off of one pump station. Desert Rain custom builds flotation devices for lake equipment, aquatic plant and animal life.
The DIRECT LINE is used on irrigation or fill lines and is a cost-effective way to add an aesthetic improvement to your lake. There is no need for pump, motor, control panel or electrical cable. No fuss. The Direct Line Floating Fountain system has a fire hose attached at the lake's fill or return line that runs out to the float where it is attached to the nozzle.
Benefits and Applications: Least expensive way to add a fountain to your waterscape. No pump, no motor. No additional electricity required. (Uses the already existing irrigation or fill pump) No electrical cables in the water. (Unless lights are added) Easy to self-install
The ON-SHORE pump and motor keeps electrical cable out of the water, improves circulation and aeration, makes repair easy because a swimming pool pump is housed on-shore and hose runs to and from the pump. This fountain is a good choice for fishing and swimming lakes because no electrical cable is required in the lake. It is also a good choice for lakes in need of bottom draw aeration and/or circulation.

On-Shores 1 hp - 15 hp are available in 230 Volt single and three phase and 460 Volt, three phase. All nozzle options are available including spray rings and fan jets for OnShores in 7 ½-hp and above
The Traditional Floating Fountain is an independent floating system with a pump, motor, and display all mounted on the float assembly which can be relocated easily.
