Lake Fountain Repair Desert Rain Floating Fountains were designed with ease of ownership in mind. With readily-available "off the shelf" replacement pumps and motors, down time and costs are at a minimum. For repair service on a Traditional fountain, call your local well pump dealer. A Traditional fountain is a well pump and motor hung horizontally with a display nozzle. For On-Shore fountains, a local swimming pool company is probably your best bet. To save yourself from heartache, backache and headache, we recommend taking troubleshooting sequentially. Begin troubleshooting at the control panel and procedure in a step by step fashion. Easiest to rule out things first. Removal of the fountain is only necessary if the pump or motor is in need of replacement. This is the last option, and if indeed they need to be replaced, finding out what caused their demise is more crucial. The fifteen minutes you spend starting at the control panel will be well worth it — talking from experience here.
